Professional Peel Aftercare Instructions
Protect your results. Glow beautifully.
Congratulations on taking the next step toward fresher, healthier skin!
Proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results from your peel. Please follow these important guidelines:
πΏ Immediately After Your Peel:
Expect mild redness, dryness, or tightness.
Light flaking may occur (especially after stronger peels like Glycolic or TCA).
Do not pick, peel, or rub any flaking or peeling skin.
π« What to Avoid:
Direct sun exposure β Wear SPF 30+ daily, even indoors.
Heat and sweating β Avoid saunas, hot tubs, heavy workouts for 48 hours.
Exfoliating products β No scrubs, retinols, AHAs/BHAs, or acne treatments for 5β10 days.
Makeup β Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours post-peel, or as directed by your esthetician.
π§ What to Use:
A gentle, non-stripping cleanser.
Hydrating serum (hyaluronic acid is ideal).
A nourishing, fragrance-free moisturizer.
Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, reapplied every 2β3 hours if exposed to light.
ποΈ Next Steps:
Allow 5β7 days for full healing for light peels (Enzyme, Lactic, Glycolic).
Allow 7β10+ days for medium-depth peels (TCA) to fully shed and reveal new skin.
Plan your next peel or maintenance facial at least 4β6 weeks later, depending on your estheticianβs recommendation.
